SERVICES & SERMONS
Worshiping God is the chief function of the church. No activity is higher, more honorable, or more necessary. Our Sunday morning worship service serves as a time when members from all ages gather together and reflect the oneness God desires in the church.

We believe worship at Broadmoor should reflect the following three commitments:
HOURS
Worship focuses on God’s character. God is the object of our worship, and we must focus on Him. In worship we affirm God is transcendent (far different from us) and also personal (able to relate to us). He is good and loving. We remember how He has acted in the past, and affirm that He will continue to act in ways consistent with His character now and in the future. In worship we should learn and be reminded of who God is and what He desires from us.
Worship shapes the believer’s character. God desires to conform us to the image of Christ, and worship is the main way this spiritual formation takes place. In worship we breathe deeply of God’s Spirit, and He challenges and molds our hearts and minds. We believe strongly that the form and content of worship shapes the form and content of the believer.
Worship reflects the church’s character. Churches worship God in a variety of ways, and God can be honored in many different styles. At Broadmoor we have embraced a traditional style of worship because it best reflects our commitment to reflection and reverence. We want worship that touches and challenges the mind without ignoring the heart. Our worship leads us to love God deeply and love and serve others.
