Dr. Ezell became the pastor of Broadmoor in November of 2016. He previously served as pastor of Northwest Baptist Church in Ardmore, OK. He previously served churches in Union Point, GA, Newnan, GA, Walnut Ridge, AR, and Corning AR.
Leonard, an Arkansas native, earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Williams Baptist College, a Master of Divinity from McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University, and a Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary.
Leonard and his wife, Stephanie, are the proud parents of two sons: Jack and Taylor.
Minister of Music
Paul Henderson, a native of Kansas, received the Bachelor of Music degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in Church Music, and the Master of Music in Vocal Performance degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, studying under Dr. Jack Coldiron. Paul has held church positions in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and now Louisiana. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the American Guild of Organists, the Choristers Guild, and the Baton Rouge Symphony Chorus having filled in for the Chorus Master on several occasions.
He and his wife, Kim, have two daughters, Alyssa and Ashtyn. Paul is an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and since arriving in 2001, has grown to be an LSU Tiger supporter.
Director of Business Administration
Tracey joined the BBC team in August, 1997, as Director of Business Administration. A long-time Broadmoor member, Tracey is a graduate of Tara High School in Baton Rouge and attended Louisiana State University. Tracey celebrated her fifteenth year as Business Administrator in 2012.
Minister of Youth and Children
Dave began serving as the Minister of Youth and Children at Broadmoor in February 2011. He received a B.A. in Religion from Oklahoma Baptist University and a M.Div. in Theology from George W. Truett Theological Seminary in Waco, TX. He’s done additional graduate study at Baylor University.
Dave and his wife, Samantha, have three beautiful children: Eli, Taylor, and Sadie.
Minister of Spiritual Formation
On July 18, 2010, Bobby Rayburn, our Youth Minister, was voted in as our new Minister of Spiritual Formation. Bobby was born and raised in Canton, Mississippi, where he graduated from Canton Academy. He received his B.A. degree in Religious Education at Mississippi College, and later earned his Master’s of Divinity degree in Pastoral Ministries at New Orleans Baptist Seminary.
Bobby came to Broadmoor in April of 1996 after serving churches in Charleston and Diamondhead, Ms. Together he and his wife, Kelli, have two children, Eli and Stella Rose.
