Dr. Leonard EzellDr. Leonard Ezell

Leonard began his ministry at Broadmoor Baptist in November 2016, having previously served in pastorates in Arkansas, Georgia, and Oklahoma. He also served in youth ministry positions in Arkansas and Georgia. Leonard holds a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Spirituality from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia; a Master of Divinity from the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia; and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. His publications include: “Collaboration: An Invitation to Discern the Future Together,” Columbia Theological Seminary, Decatur, GA (2012); “What the Prophets Foretold,” Curriculum, Smyth & Helwys Publishing Company, Macon, GA (2013); Devotional Writer, Online Daily Devotionals, d365 Passport, Birmingham, AL (2008, 2009, 2011); “Judges: Listening for God in Changing Times,” Curriculum, Smyth & Helwys Publishing Company, Macon, GA (2011); “Out of Egypt: Exodus 3-14,” Curriculum, Smyth & Helwys Publishing Company, Macon, GA (2009). Leonard lives in Baton Rouge with his wife Stephanie and their two sons Jack and Taylor. In addition to spending time with his family, Leonard enjoys reading, drinking dark coffee, writing, traveling, golfing, skiing, and snowboarding.
